I must admit I was pretty excited about sharing this shoot. Poppy’s mum and dad heard about me through one of my previous mum’s who’d had their own newborn shoot (baby Oliver) so it was lovely to meet their own beautiful arrival. But when dad turned up he had a very special prop he surprised me with. He brought along two of his pride and joys – his stunning acoustic guitars. So we did the full shoot as we normally do but replaced my props with his own. The guitar shot actually involves a LOT of photoshop, baby poppy was never left alone on the guitar – her dad had two hands on her at all times and she was actually lying on a blanket on the guitar to make sure she was comfy. But I think the result (after the magic of photoshop) was pretty great! What do you think?
