Next friday I will have another beautiful baby in the studio, who just happens to be Barlow’s new little brother or sister. His mummy and daddy brought him in for a family maternity photography shoot a few weeks ago and I can just tell they are all VERY excited about the new arrival. I know Barlow will be a super big brother. I actually first photographed big brother-to-be Barlow, when he was a newborn himself (after being born very premature) and he is still one of the tiniest babies I’ve ever photographed. I was overjoyed to see him again for his birthday and then a Christmas shoot, so he was a natural when it came to his mummy’s maternity shoot. Like all my maternity shoots, I chat to my couples about their style as maternity photography is so personal. Lisa wanted hers to be all about the light, so as well as the sheer window curtains in my studio, we used a beautiful light curtain as a backdrop and I think it was very effective. I LOVE their pop balloons too, they may well feature in their newborn shoot too! Do you love it as much as I do?
