As many of you will know my baby photography business is partly named after my daughter Mia, who we had just over three years ago. Well I have been keeping a little secret from you, we are in fact increasing our little family from three to four and Mia is going to be a big sister, and in January I will have a newborn model of my own! We had our 20 week scan last week, and I admit I just couldn’t contain my excitement and neither could Mia, so we found out that we are having another girl, which we are all over the moon about!
And here she is! (this is actually our 12 week scan photo as she was being a bit of a monkey and not posing right for the sonographer at 20 weeks)
But before you worry the studio won’t be closing whilst I am off for a couple of months as the lovely Michelle is joining me in the studio from this week and will be taking over completely from January – April next year (although no doubt Ill be popping my head in to say hello). Michelle, like me, has been a professional photographer for over 10 years, so has lots of experience! She also has twin babies who will be one in January, so has even more experience with her own two, but it has meant that coming to work in my studio will be a lot more flexible than returning to her old one, which is fantastic news for me. I actually got to photograph her twins when they were newborns too, so it feels lovely to have her be part of the team now!
Michelle has actually been working with me over at Julia and You for a little while photographing weddings with me, but I am really excited about her joining me in the studio. So lots of you will no doubt get to meet her over the next few months. Until then meet Michelle and her gorgeous twins (and one from their newborn shoot)
