This adorable pair belong to the lovely Michelle who works alongside me, at weddings and in the studio (she’s currently solo in the studio whilst I’m on maternity leave). But before I headed off on maternity leave I just had to do a cake smash for her scrummy twins, who will be one this sunday (how has time flown so quickly!). We did the shoot a bit last minute so picked up a shop bought chocolate cake, and WOW they love chocolate and the mess was HILARIOUS (two babies and chocolate was always going to be fun). Eva was less impressed when we took it away.
This time last year I photographed them as adorable newborns, I knew Michelle was a photographer as she is friends with one of my mummy friends, fast forward to me finding out I was expecting and my old assistant wasn’t able to do as many weddings with me anymore due to moving, so I chatted to Michelle about what she was going to do about returning to work, she explained she wasn’t sure as the long hours of school and nursery photography and often travelling probably wouldn’t work with her two gorgeous little ones. So it seemed like a match made in heaven and last summer Michelle started working alongside me. I know everyone who is in the studio this spring will love her! (and of course my wedding couples this year as much as my 2014 ones did).
I will be posting lots of her shoots coming up, but if baby arrives we might be a little quiet on the blog but dont worry we will be back soon! I have a few more to share over the next week so not going anywhere just yet!
