VIP in the studio

  • Newborns

Not all VIP’s are celebrities or royals or politicians. VIP’s to most of us are our nearest and dearest, our families and friends. In our house we have some extra VIPs to add to that list, and for Jack it is very much the doctors and nurses who have helped care for him and save his life. One of whom that is very special, came to visit us with her own baby girl. Dr Chaudry was the doctor who spotted Jack’s potential life threatening Bilary Atresia, and whilst she was hopeful it was nothing it was her early invention that saved him. When he fell ill with sepsis, she was heading off on maternity leave but stopped her plans to rush to see him, I am sure her fast reactions saved him again. But it was that day we waved goodbye to her and wished her luck with her new adventure as a mummy-to-be and living in Australia.

But she called me and gave me the news she was coming to England for a few weeks, and turns out she thinks Jack is pretty special too, and she made a visit to see us during her hectic trip. I feel pretty honoured and obviously Jack was too. So in my eyes she is probably the biggest VIP we have had in the studio, because of course whilst she was here I had to get some photographs of her adorable baby girl Roshni. We will never be able to thank her enough and hope we all get to see you again as soon as possible. I know the whole CF team at Royal London miss you lots too.
