Its always a joy when a baby I’ve met before comes back with their new sibling. I loved seeing Jasper again and he was so in love with his new baby sister. So many cuddles, he was a perfect big brother for their shoot. Iris was as cute as Jasper was for his shoot three years earlier too!
Iris’ mummy and daddy wanted a beautifully neutral shoot, natural and relaxed. I used cream and white tones to compliment their style. And of course lots of gorgeous black and white photography shots too.
I love having siblings in for a newborn session. Not all siblings want to cuddle and pose with their new sibling so we sometimes need to use tricks like composites (photoshopping them together) or treats. Sometimes they just need some time to go away and play before doing their shots. As the sessions can be quite long for siblings, I usually do their photographs first so then whoever has come along to help can take them to a local park, whilst we do the newborn photographs.
