Coming up on the blog is Mia’s own 2nd birthday cake smash shoot, but when I was thinking about the shoot I thought about the idea of Mia making the cake herself (which of course she didn’t the AMAZINGLY talented cake designers Yum Nums made a beautiful ombre cake but more of that next time). When I am creating any shoot I often ask parents where do they think they would like the pictures, as the photographs are part of your home and something we decorate around and look at every day. I have a lovely kitchen and its one of the only rooms in our home which is picture-less. So my cake making photograph could be perfect for in there, Mia and I did a VERY quick five minute shoot (after another one in the studio). Our Kitchen is wood, so the flooring had to reflect that, but the walls are cream and I wanted to brighten it up the wall by our table, so I thought I would use my pink backdrop to add some zing… Now I just have to pick which one to frame! Which is your favourite??
I think its either the top big one or the bottom big one… which would you pick?
