Modernphotographic has been shooting beautiful weddings, great family events and super cute babies since 2005. However in 2011 we’ve launched our sister company {juliaandmia} dedicated to babies, littles ones, their families and their parties and christenings.
The company is named after modernphotographic’s founder, me, Julia West and my gorgeous little girl Mia. I pretty much photograph Mia every single day, whether it be a new outfit or cheeky smile! So to launch the site here is her very own “Newborn shoot”. As with all babies, some will sleep soundly and some will be all to aware of the camera, some will snuggle into the blankets with nothing on and others just don’t want to be bare!
Mia being our daughter is now used to the camera, but she doesn’t like being bare and she is far too nosey, even at less than a week old, to stay asleep!
Over the next few posts, you can meet lots of her friends that snuggled up to the blankets and slept like angels. I just like to think every baby is different which means every shoot is unique.
