Julia was absolutely fabulous when it came to taking photographs of our newborn baby, we where overwhelmed with the results and are just so pleased with the special moments she has captured for us. I am so happy I will have the photographs to always remember this special time in our lives. Julia is absolutely brilliant at her job and we can’t thank her enough.

We visited Julia when our baby daughter was only eight days old. I was still in a bit of a daze and I am not sure quite how we managed to even get out of the house! Julia made us feel so so welcome and honestly it was such a lovely experience – not least because we had lots of tea and biscuits! Julia and Michelle completely put us at ease (and as very new parents we were a bit anxious), taking care of everything so that we just got to sit back and relax and look at our lovely baby. The finished photographs are just beautiful, and they (like my wedding photos, which Julia also took) grow more and more precious every day. When I think back to the early days, going to Julia’s is such a special memory, and I’m so glad we had our newborn shoot. It’s true what they say, they grow up so fast and now those pictures are irreplaceable. Julia is such a talented woman and her pictures are just perfect; I don’t know how she does it but somehow every photograph she takes is just extraordinary. I would recommend her to all of my friends (and have done, actually).

“We were thrilled with the photos that Julia took of our newborn daughter. Julia is a master at what she does and we cannot recommend her newborn photography package enough. Arriving at her studio with a tiny baby in a newborn shattered haze we had no idea what to expect, we were still trying to understand our baby and here was someone attempting to capture them in one of those beautiful sleeping beauty baby poses – how was she going to do we wondered – we even joked on the way there that it just wouldn’t be possible? What transpired was an effortless and magical experience, Julia is so experienced with newborns that our little one sunk merrily into her arms and snoozed contentedly throughout whilst Julia expertly set up shots and that were simply stunning, beautiful and creative – we loved them. We were offered tea and homemade biscuits when we arrived and relaxed in comfy chairs which was absolute bliss while we marvelled at the shoot wishing we could take Julia back home with us for the rest of the day! During the session Julia talked about her own experience of motherhood and mentioned some top tips for newborns which we found invaluable and we left the session not only thrilled with the photos but rejuvinated and confident that we were going to get through the next few months with a spring in our step. We had some of the pictures enlarged and they are hanging on the wall and every now and then we catch site of them and each other and remember that truly lovely experience. We recommend Julia’s newborn photography to all prospective parents and family and friends, its a lovely gift to give and a wonderful relaxing experience with a super nice photographer. “

“We booked Julia for our newborn baby photography shoot after our 20 week scan as I was recommended from a friend and knew how quickly her shoots got filled. Julia’s work caught my eye from day one and our photos were amazing far too many amazing ones to choose from! Julia made us feel so relaxed and welcomed us into her home where her studio is Lovely and her props are amazing (and so are her cupcakes)!! After seeing photograph taken by Julia on her Facebook page, I had to contact her to get photos of my son taken, at 7 months. Since then I’ve been back to have a first birthday shoot and a newborn shoot done  for our daughter and no doubt about it will use Julia again in the future with both children. Julia is very welcoming and made both me and my partner feel at ease and comfortable throughout all 3 shoots with the kids. Would recommend Julia to anyone wanting photos done, the pictures are amazing, we will definitely be using her again in the future.
